PARIS TEXAS:
Jean-Marc Jousse, founder member of the rock group "Paris Texas" (1991) student at the world renowned; " G. I. T. ( Guitar Institute of Technology ) Music School" Los Angeles, for one year from September 1983, returning to his home town of Perpignan, France, in September 1984.
He has since earned the respect of becoming one of the best known guitarists in the south west of France. A very accomplished musician and today works with an abundance of artists. Jean-Marc’s idol is Mark Knopfler
so if ever you have the chance to see him performing whilst on yourt travels, take the time out, it’ll be worth it !
It was in the summer of 1994 that Jean-Marc was advertising for a second lead vocalist so I applied for the job. I stayed with the band for a period of two years and at that point decided to return to the French Riviera and form my own group.
From time to time we still work together and I’m always over the moon to do so, it’s such a pleasure to work with the professionals in this business.!
